CRM manager Celebrates 10 Years in Business!
Starting a new business is a daunting process that takes just the right mix of entrepreneurism and instinct. Ten years ago, Andy Atkins, Founder and CEO of CRM manager, recognized an opportunity with a quickly growing company, salesforce.com. At that time, it was hard to imagine that the world-wide-web would continue to grow until it was universally known as the “internet” and it was hard to imagine that cloud-based real-time computing, referred to then as an “ASP Model”, would shift from confusion to the norm. Andy readily gives credit to his incredible CRM manager team for the company’s success over the last 10 years… but what was his original plan? What kind of planning goes into the creation of a successful company? Is there a certain mindset one must possess in order to succeed? He had just one goal: “to build a successful, singularly focused consulting company that would support the rapid growth of Salesforce.” Andy was clear in his original focus and states he started this company because of his “love of the technology industry and desire to build a successful Salesforce consulting firm.” With over 1,534 successful Salesforce implementations to date, we are pretty positive that original goal has been realized!
We also spoke with Dick Moore, a Senior Consultant with CRM manager since 2008. In the exploding technology sector, employees are a valuable resource. CRM manager’s team of senior business leaders, averaging over 18 years of experience, have worked hard to build a team that is committed to the success of the company. Dick was quick to point out his long tenure is directly related to his ability to work from home in his “PJs” but quickly followed with, “The best part about working for CRM manager has been the quality of the consulting staff I’ve been able to work with. People come and go, but the high level of expertise, cooperation, and professionalism has been maintained.” Dick continued with these thoughts that really speak to the CRM manager culture, “we are not ‘just’ Salesforce experts; there are many people who can do that. Working as a consultant with many different clients over the years, I have had the opportunity to look at a wide range of business problems and provide solutions using Salesforce, the AppExchange and other integrations. “
